- 01Survey routes, risers, containment and comms rooms before the design is committed
- 02Design cabling architectures (copper, fibre and containment) against the relevant British and European standards
- 03Specify cable classes, fibre types and containment sized for current load with recorded spare capacity
- 04Coordinate installation with other trades so routes, segregation distances and fire-stopping are maintained
- 05Test every link with calibrated instruments and certify results against the installed class
- 06Hand over labelled, as-built records so every outlet can be traced to a patch panel without lifting a floor tile
