Care and nursing homes
Call systems that hold up to inspection.
A care home call system is judged on two things: whether residents can raise help from wherever they fall, and whether you can evidence the response afterwards.
- Residential care homes
- Nursing homes
- Dementia and specialist units
- Extra-care and supported living
- Communal and circulation areas

Our scope
What we do on these systems.
- 01Survey room, ensuite, bathroom and communal coverage against how residents actually move around the home
- 02Specify pull cords and accessible-WC assistance alarms so they can be reached from the floor
- 03Design staff presence and escalation for night cover, when staffing is thinnest
- 04Configure response-time reporting that can be produced as evidence rather than reconstructed
- 05Plan the install around an occupied building, with no room out of service overnight
Platform
What the system does.
EZ CALL IP is manufactured by Schrack Seconet. Product names and specifications are theirs.
- Resident call from room, ensuite, bathroom and communal areas
- Pull-cord and pneumatic call options for wet areas
- Staff presence registration, with an audible tone to summon a second carer
- Call forwarding to handsets carried by staff on shift
- Call and response-time logging, exportable for review
- Continuous supervision of call points, so a dead device is reported rather than discovered
Documentation
Documents open on the manufacturer’s site so you always get the current revision.
